Playlist: “Our Songs”

veruca-salt-ninaMy partner and I have widely different tastes in music.  He tends to go for the catchy, tough-girl pop/alternative and jazzy, thoughtful male (or female) singer-songwriter types.  I, on the other hand, tend to go for…well, just about anything, although I’m selective about it.  I pick and choose individual tracks as my pets, most of which have never made the radio.  My partner is selective as well, but will pick from what already is on the radio.

There is a small area of overlap between our tastes, someplace our playlists meet.  So in honor of our anniversary yesterday, which marks 14 years of successfully putting up with each other, I give you this, a sampling of songs we could both agree on, any time.
